Emily Ridings is a Kentucky-born artist and craftswoman whose work reinterprets the ancestral art of basketry through a modern, intuitive lens. Based in Lexington, Emily creates sculptural and functional pieces by hand using reed and wood, emphasizing sustainability and zero-waste production.

Emily received a BFA in Fashion Design from Pratt Institute and learned to weave from her grandmother, Judy Ridings. Her work has been featured in Vogue and Garden & Gun.
