Sarah Sullivan Sherrod is a textile artist based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sarah combines her background of weaving, painting, and color theory to create work that celebrates the importance of play, as seen in both her process and aesthetic. Bound by the limits of the loom and materials, Sarah welcomes a heavy dose of improvisation to the rest of her practice. Each phase of creation is like a game itself, using the conversations between colors and shapes to complete the puzzle of the final work.

Meet

Emma Ballou

Emma is a fine artist whose work is often inspired by the ethereal beauty of dawn and dusk. Her connection to trees is particularly profound, stemming from her childhood in rural Maine, where she formed deep bonds with the natural world around her. She continues to find inspiration in the forests and meadows that surround her 10-acre homestead in Maine, where she lives with her partner and their array of animals.

Robbie Austin

Robbie is an artist, a teacher, a father, and a husband – though that order fluctuates regularly.  He lives in a 112-year-old house, in the town he was born, one-half mile from his high school alma mater, where he has taught for 18 years. Louisiana “bookends” his pilgrimage.

Renée Bott

Printermaker turned artist, Renée collects source materials from museums, antique print dealers, the Internet and private collections. She photographs the items and uses digital programs to modify the images, which serve as general outlines for her compositions. The interweaving of text and antique visual imagery gives her work a tactile tapestry quality.
