Emma Ballou has been watching Maine light her whole life — the way it filters through pine forests in the morning, spills across meadow grass midday, catches a nasturtium in late afternoon, and softens into something else entirely by evening. This new body of work is that watching made into paint. Six pieces. Six moments. All of it rooted in the landscape she left and came back to.

Renée is a printmaker turned artist. Her works are based on the intricate lines found in both etchings and engravings from the 15th-17th centuries. She examines stories, images, text and handwriting from the past as a way of understanding “how we got here today”.
