NEW COLLECTION FROM
Anna Munro
Anna is a Sydney-based contemporary artist, born in Scotland. She paints with acrylic and oil pastels on canvas, creating bold, expressive works that use objects, creatures, and figures to evoke a sense of energy and movement. Her pieces are playful and immersive, designed to offer moments of joy.
NEW COLLECTION FROM
Louisa Dunn x Morgan Elvington Walker
The first ever collaboration between Louisa Dunn and Morgan Elvington Walker—where hand-marbled meets hand-stitched. Working together to combine their signature styles—the hand-marbled Ebru florals Morgan is known for combined with Louisa’s intricate hand-stitched floral collages. A limited collection of six one-of-a-kind pieces not to be missed.
Art that carries a story
Midnight Art Gallery is a woman-owned contemporary art space devoted to the process behind the work as much as the work itself. We believe that every piece begins long before it reaches the wall—in the quiet rituals, intuitive gestures, and intimate practices that artists return to again and again. Our collection celebrates makers who approach art as a way of moving through the world: attentive, curious, and attuned to color, rhythm, and the emotional resonance of materials.
- MEET THE ARTISTS -
Meet
Sarah Sullivan Sherrod
Sarah is a textile artist based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She combines her background of weaving, painting, and color theory to create work that celebrates the importance of play, as seen in both her process and aesthetic. Bound by the limits of the loom and materials, Sarah welcomes a heavy dose of improvisation to the rest of her practice.
Meet
Liz Rundorff Smith
Liz’s work elevates the mundane, mimicking the way we bring significance to loss with keepsakes and memorials. Her work evokes a sense of nostalgia and exposes the sentimentality in memory. Embellishments like fringe and shiny gold finishes play into the chintzy aesthetic of souvenirs, recalling party decorations, parade floats and prize ribbons, which turn the ordinary into something to be celebrated.
MEET
Sali Swalla
Sali was born in Hawaii to a Japanese mother and a military aviator father. She spent her early years living in various US States, as well as Japan and Korea. After attending university in Tokyo, she moved to Los Angeles and finally began to put down roots. Having spent so much time “in between”…in between states, countries, houses, schools and cultures—Sali developed an inner life that imagines mysteries in the world we cannot see with eyes alone, which are the foundation for all of her work.
