What do you hope people will take away from your work?
"I hope my work encourages people to slow down as they pass by and notice the careful choices of color and the small details I hand-stitched one-by-one. Exploring shape and color this way is so meditative for me. I hope the viewer will slow down and enjoy the piece as much as I do making it."

Tell us something about your process that is hard to tell from photos.
"In person my work feels even more lively and dimensional. Photos hardly do justice to the playful layering, stitching, texture and detail in each piece."
