Julia Deckman is a contemporary visual artist who paints with a focus on color. She graduated from The College of Charleston in 2007 with a BS in Humanities in Social Sciences, and continues to reside and work in the Holy City. Deckman was named the 2019 Lowcountry Artist of the Year and has since exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions in the South East. Her work has been featured in Luxe Interiors + Design, House & Garden UK, Charleston Living and Charleston Home & Design.
