Where do you find inspiration?
I am inspired by the interaction of light and color in my daily life. I try to pay close attention to the shapes and hues that speak to me. I have LOTS of seemingly random photos on my phone that I will refer to when I am ready to explore possibilities

Tell us something about your process that is hard to tell from photos.
I use various composition styles in an effort to explore color and form, and each of these approaches have varying processes. However, I almost always custom mix my paint colors. Whether I am using oils or acrylics, I am very OCD about getting the color balance just right. This means a paint hue is rarely "right" straight of of the tube or jar. I will mix various colors and mediums to get that perfect color and matte finish (I often use flashe paints, or I'll mix modeling paste into my acrylics to achieve a matte finish)
